This directory is only for operators who take bookings on their own website. We verify ownership with a meta tag or a DNS record before your listing goes live.

Your listing page carries your photos, your details and a single button that goes to your own booking page. No competing listings, no upsells, no sponsored results above you.

You keep everything
The guest relationship, the full nightly rate, the deposit terms, the cancellation policy. We never touch a reservation or a payment.

You see what we sent you
Your dashboard shows clicks and referrals by month, and we tag every outbound link so the traffic also appears in your own Google Analytics.

What we need from you
- A working website of your own that takes enquiries or bookings
- A valid BC short-term rental registration number
- A local business licence, where your municipality requires one
- A link back to your DirectStays listing from your own site
We review every listing by hand and check the registration details before it goes live. That is the point of a curated directory — a guest arriving from DirectStays knows the operator is licensed and real.
Why there is no “Book now” button
Deliberate. Under British Columbia’s Short-Term Rental Accommodations Act, a site that handles both promotion and payment is a regulated platform service. We do promotion only, so we carry none of that overhead — and that is what keeps the fee flat and small instead of a cut of every stay.
